Dickie McCamey Elects Seven New Shareholders
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a leading national law firm based in Pittsburgh, is pleased to announce that seven attorneys have been elected shareholders of the firm, effective January 1, 2025.
Annabelle L. Carone, Benjamin F. Colburn, Richard T. Coyne, John N. Demas, Scott A. Fenton, Devon F. Ferris, and Robert A. Watters are the newest shareholders.
Ms. Carone concentrates her practice on defending companies in product liability actions. She handles all aspects of civil litigation, including research and writing, discovery, depositions, motions practice, and trial as both national and regional counsel for large corporations. In addition, she has handled insurance defense matters such as uninsured and underinsured claims.
Mr. Colburn is a member of the firm’s Product Liability Group. He routinely represents national and international industrial, agricultural, commercial, and consumer product manufacturers and suppliers in personal injury and commercial litigation, as well as counseling manufacturers and retailers on product warnings, instructions, product manual contents, and commercial terms and conditions. He also regularly represents oil and gas production companies and service providers in personal injury and commercial litigation.
Mr. Coyne concentrates his practice in the areas of product liability law and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall issues as well as alternate dispute resolution, commercial litigation, mediation, negligence, and tort defense.
Mr. Demas serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Family Law Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of family law and sports law. In addition to maintaining a traditional legal practice, Mr. Demas is experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and collaborative law. He is a trained mediator and is a certified collaborative law attorney.
Mr. Fenton is a Co-Chair of the Construction Law Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Railroad Law, Litigation and Regulatory Counsel Group. Mr. Fenton concentrates his practice in the areas of architect and engineer malpractice, construction law, and railroad litigation. He frequently defends railroads in Federal Employers’ Liability Act (FELA), third-party personal injury, property damage, and real estate litigation matters. His practice includes civil litigation, insurance defense, and defense of professional liability claims.
Ms. Ferris is a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She concentrates her practice in the areas of admiralty, insurance defense, Jones Act, maritime law, and municipal law. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ferris served as an attorney advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges, where she worked on federal workers’ compensation matters, including claims under the Black Lung Benefits Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Mr. Watters concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial transactions and litigation, general corporate law, outside general counsel services, and real estate, with a particular emphasis in energy law. His energy practice focuses in the areas of oil and gas and hydrogen energy.
With the election of the seven new members, Dickie McCamey has 107 shareholders.
