Dickie McCamey Elects Four New Shareholders

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a leading national law firm based in Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce that four attorneys have been elected shareholders of the firm, effective January 1, 2024. Gabrielle M. Carbonara, Michael A. Muha, Paul A. Roman Jr. and Kevin G. Thomas are the newest shareholders.

Gabrielle M. Carbonara is a member of the firm’s Energy Group and Real Estate Group in addition to being an active member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.

Ms. Carbonara’s energy practice is comprised of handling transactional oil and gas matters, including title review and curative work; reviewing complex heirship and leaseholds; preparing certified mineral title opinions, purchase and sales agreements, assignments, deeds, and rights of way; mineral due diligence projects; and contract drafting and negotiation.

Michael A. Muha concentrates his practice in civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on commercial disputes, product liability law, and appellate practice. He has represented an array of business entities in every level of state and federal court in Pennsylvania, as well as numerous other state courts, federal district courts, and federal appellate courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Muha worked as a law clerk at Dickie McCamey. He also served as an intern to the Honorable Carlota M. Böhm of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Maurice B. Cohill, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Paul A. Roman, Jr. is a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, including trade secret matters and intellectual property disputes; appellate practice; bankruptcy/workout, including creditors’ rights and tuition recovery defense; and real estate litigation, including missing interests and/or heirs, title insurance litigation and coverage, agent defalcation, property boundary disputes, landlocked parcels, easement, right-of-way and access issues, quieting title, mortgage foreclosure and workout, and title curative.

Kevin G. Thomas’ practice is concentrated in insurance litigation, including architect and engineer malpractice, errors and omissions, admiralty and maritime law, and premises liability, and with a particular emphasis in automobile accident litigation.

Prior to joining Dickie McCamey, Mr. Thomas practiced with Thomas, DeGrood & Witenoff. While in law school, he served as a legal intern for the City of Warren Attorney’s Office and the 35th District Court of Michigan.

With the election of the four new members, Dickie McCamey has 101 shareholders.
