DMC Elects Five New Shareholders
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a leading national law firm based in Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce that five attorneys have been elected shareholders of the firm, effective January 1, 2023. Kevin H. Conrad, Nathan J. Gruz, Matthew P. Hall, Kathryn A. Morrow, and Tara Hopper Rice are the newest shareholders.
Kevin H. Conrad, of DMC’s Lehigh Valley office, concentrates his practice on civil litigation in the areas of employment (discrimination/retaliation, leave, and wage and hour matters), medical malpractice defense, and commercial litigation.
Nathan J. Gruz concentrates his practice in the area of Medicare compliance. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gruz served as a Medicare Set-Aside analyst with a local company. He focused on Medicare Secondary Payer issues that arise in the resolution of workers’ compensation and general liability claims. While in law school, Mr. Gruz was a research assistant to Professor Rhonda Wasserman at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Matthew P. Hall is a member of the Bethlehem healthcare team where he concentrates his practice in the area of medical malpractice defense. As a Lehigh Valley native, he takes great pride in defending physicians, nurses, and healthcare institutions in the Lehigh Valley and Greater Lehigh Valley area. He has successfully argued complex issues and cases on behalf of healthcare clients. Mr. Hall also devotes a significant portion of his practice to the defense of commercial and general liability matters including product liability, premises liability, and commercial and personal lines motor vehicle accident litigation.
Kathryn A. Morrow concentrates her practice in the area of insurance defense, with a particular emphasis in workers’ compensation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Morrow served as counsel at a national insurance carrier. While in law school, she was a certified legal intern for the Urban Development Clinic.
Tara Hopper Rice concentrates her practice in the areas of real estate and energy law with a focus on issues related to the development and purchase of oil, gas and other minerals. She counsels clients on issues surrounding hydraulic fracturing and well-specific activities, such as contract review, subsurface trespass, environmental concerns, and insurance disputes. She is skilled in drafting and reviewing various types of title opinions, including drilling, leasehold, coal, and division order opinions and analyzing complex leaseholds and fractionalized heirships.
With the election of the five new members, Dickie McCamey has 110 shareholders.
