Shaka Sadler Honored by The National Black Lawyers’ Top 40

For a second consecutive year, Dickie McCamey’s Shaka S.J. Sadler has been named to the 2023 National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 Black Lawyers in Ohio.

Each year, this list is composed of 40 black lawyers from each state under 40 that have an outstanding reputation for providing excellent legal representation in their respective practice areas. Additionally, lawyers on this list have notable achievements, settlements, and verdicts.

“The NBL is a professional organization that celebrates legal excellence and promotes our attorneys as subject-matter experts, facilitates the exchange of timely information to enable our members to maintain their status as leaders, and represents a strong national network of top African American attorneys,” according to an NBL release.

“I am honored and thrilled to have been selected to the 2023 National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40,” Ms. Sadler said. “The mentorship that I have received here at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote was essential to me receiving such an honor this year. I am filled with both gratitude and glee to have received this esteemed recognition and to be a part of a supportive firm that helps me strive toward such achievements.”

Ms. Sadler is an associate of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She concentrates her practice in the area of general litigation with a particular emphasis in employment and labor law and has ample experience representing private and public sector employers in both state and federal court. She handles a wide range of employment and labor matters, including discrimination disputes, wage and hour cases, and wrongful termination claims.

Ms. Sadler earned her Juris Doctor at Case Western Reserve School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from Allegheny College.
