DMC Recognizes Its Associates for Their Pro Bono Service
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC) is pleased to announce that Sally A. Frick, Esq. is the firm’s recipient of its David B. Fawcett Pro Bono Service Award. Ms. Frick, an associate with the firm, is recognized for giving her time to those in need — a tradition and attribute of the award’s namesake, David B. Fawcett.
This is the third year for the award, and it is presented in honor of Mr. Fawcett’s memory. Four associates, in addition to Ms. Frick, were finalists, based on their volunteer efforts: Katherine S. Gallagher, Esq.; Ron G. Jones, Esq.; Katie M. Mills, Esq.; and Laura A. McGraw, Esq.
William D. Clifford, Esq., member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, said, “We cannot be more proud of our associates. Our firm requires each associate to fulfill an annual minimum of 12 hours pro bono service. Our associates have gone above and beyond, by each volunteering an average of 79 hours this past year.”
Ms. Frick’s honor included a donation from the firm, to a charity of her choosing. She chose Neighborhood Legal Services Association (“NLSA”) to receive the firm’s donation. In 1966, Mr. Fawcett helped start NLSA, an organization which ensures legal services to the poor and vulnerable in our community.
