Robert G. Del Greco, Jr. Named 2023 Best Lawyers® “Lawyer of the Year” in the Pittsburgh Area

Dickie McCamey attorney Robert G. Del Greco, Jr. was recently recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2023 “Lawyer of the Year” for Criminal Defense: General Practice. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan area is honored as the “Lawyer of the Year,” making this accolade particularly significant. These lawyers are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the peer review assessments.

Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.

In addition to the “Lawyer of the Year” award, Mr. Del Greco was also listed in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the following practice areas:

Mr. Del Greco is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and Co-Chair of the Criminal Defense Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal and civil defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Del Greco was an Assistant District Attorney in Allegheny County and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Defense Law at Duquesne University School of Law. Additionally, he was a Hearing Committee Member of The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as a specially-appointed hearing officer in coroner’s inquest. A frequent lecturer, Mr. Del Greco has authored publications and presented seminars on behalf of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

Mr. Del Greco completed his undergraduate degree from Allegheny College and earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesnse University School of Law.
