DMC Announces Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship for Duquesne University School of Law

Dickie McCamey’s Shareholder-in-Charge of the Pittsburgh office, Christopher T. Lee, and the Hon. Maureen Lally-Green, Dean of Duquesne University School of Law, announce the Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship.

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a national, full-service law firm, is collaborating with the Duquesne University School of Law to award an annual scholarship and clerkship, as was announced today.

The Dickie McCamey Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship will benefit diverse law school students who demonstrate an interest in the trial moot court program.

“Duquesne and Dickie McCamey share a tradition of excellence in trial advocacy as well as a commitment to diversity. It was only natural for our firm and Duquesne to work together to create this opportunity,” said Jeffrey T. Wiley, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Dickie McCamey.

The honored student will be awarded a one-time grant of $10,000, a paid summer clerkship, and access to a designated mentor from Dickie McCamey for the duration of the student’s career at Duquesne University.

“We are excited for the opportunity to make a difference in the trajectory of a diverse lawyer’s career. The mentorship aspect of this program is crucial, and we are eager to get started,” said Mr. Wiley.

Dickie McCamey will sustain this pledge for a minimum of five years.
