Profile & Honors

Rodger L. Puz is a shareholder and the General Counsel of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and catastrophic personal injury litigation, including energy law, admiralty, product liability, toxic tort matters, and outside general counsel services.

His practice includes cases in federal and state courts in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio, and administrative proceedings with federal and state agencies, including the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the United States Department of Labor. Mr. Puz handles litigation in all aspects of energy law including (1) well site accidents, (2) gas migration and nuisance cases, (3) lease challenges, (4) mineral trespass cases, and (5) inter-company disputes. Energy matters include oil and gas upstream and midstream and coal mining.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Puz worked as a petroleum engineer in the Appalachian Basin.
