Profile & Honors

Michele F. Eagle is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C.; Managing Attorney in charge of the firm’s Charlotte office; and Co-Chair of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Ms. Eagle is a litigation attorney with more than 20 years of experience representing clients in complex litigation matters. Licensed in both New York and North Carolina, she maintains her practice in both jurisdictions, servicing her clients through the firm’s White Plains (New York), Buffalo (New York), and Charlotte (North Carolina) offices.

Ms. Eagle’s practice spans a broad range of matters, including employment and labor law, general liability, negligence, premises liability, professional malpractice, transportation law, construction defect, contract disputes, and workers’ compensation defense. She serves as lead counsel at all stages of litigation, from initial investigation and strategy development through the appeals process.

Most importantly, Ms. Eagle understands the value of implementing a proactive, detail-oriented approach to litigation and risk management, particularly on a larger scale. She partners closely with clients to anticipate challenges, develop efficient strategies, and drive favorable outcomes. She understands the complexities of aligning legal strategy with her clients’ broader business objectives and effectively managing her litigation team to maximize results. Ms. Eagle and her team pride themselves on responsiveness and proactive communication, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and timely throughout the litigation process.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Eagle plays an active role in mentoring and advancing diversity within the legal and risk management industries. Since 2025, she has been selected to serve as a Committee Member of the Diversity And Talent Alliance (DATA). She also frequently speaks at diversity-focused conferences, continuing education programs, and industry seminars.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Eagle enjoys traveling, outdoor pursuits, and spending time with her family. An avid long-distance hiker, she has completed all or parts of the “W” Trek and Tower Trek in Patagonia, Chile; the Inca Trail and Huayna Picchu in Peru; Il Sentiero Degli Dei in Amalfi, Italy; the Tour du Mont Blanc in France, Italy, and Switzerland; the Banaue and Batad rice terraces in the Philippines; the Appalachian Trail; and the Hiker’s Haute Route in Switzerland.
