Profile & Honors

Chelsea D. Townsend is an associate of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and a member of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She concentrates her practice in the area of insurance defense, with a particular emphasis in workers’ compensation. Ms. Townsend is committed to assertive and reliable litigation strategies, as she has successfully represented clients through all stages of litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Townsend practiced with a national civil litigation law firm focusing in workers’ compensation litigation. She also has extensive experience as a Certified Contract Advisor for the NFL Players Association. While in law school, Ms. Townsend served as a resident-in-practice for the Wake County Public Defender’s Office in Raleigh.
