Min Song Named Dickie McCamey Scholarship Recipient

2022 Diversity Scholarship Recipient Min Song

University of Pittsburgh School of Law student Min Song has been awarded the second Dickie McCamey Diversity Scholarship, the law firm announced today.

“The constant evolvement of the law and the growing need for the voice of attorneys in marginalized groups have given me a passion to pursue this field,” said Ms. Song. “I am ecstatic to be the 2022 recipient of this scholarship and look forward to using the different resources Dickie McCamey has to offer.”

Ms. Song grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She studied at the University of Pittsburgh and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics & Philosophy and Environmental Studies. She is a 2024 Juris Doctor candidate while concurrently earning a Master of Public Health at Pitt.

“Ms. Song’s commitment to family, the underserved, and the legal community is noteworthy,” said Christopher T. Lee, Managing Attorney of the Pittsburgh office of Dickie McCamey. “We are proud to celebrate her accomplishments, her academic excellence, and her deep sense of community. We look forward to her joining Dickie McCamey as a law clerk.”

The annual scholarship and clerkship is awarded to a student from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Dickie McCamey has pledged $50,000 to the University for five years to fund the scholarship.

Wildermuth. “We are delighted that Min has been selected as the recipient this year. Dickie McCamey, a national, full-service law firm, currently employs 42 attorneys who have earned their Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
