Dickie McCamey Announces Diversity Scholarship with Penn State Law

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. will award an annual scholarship to a law student enrolled at Penn State Law at University Park.

The firm has pledged $50,000 to the university over five years to fund the Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote Penn State Law Diversity Scholarship.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Penn State Law to support the dedication and perseverance of those students from diverse backgrounds who have committed themselves to the pursuit of a career in the legal profession,” said John C. Conti, President and CEO of Dickie McCamey.

The scholarship has been in the planning phase since last winter and will provide tuition support for first-year law students enrolled in the university’s law school at Penn State University Park, whose gender, race, ethnic, cultural and/or national background contribute to the diversity of the student body. A summer clerkship will also be awarded to the scholarship recipient.

Dickie McCamey will award $10,000 each year, starting in February 2021.

Dickie McCamey, a national, full-service law firm, currently employs 23 attorneys who have earned undergraduate degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and 10 attorneys who have earned their Juris Doctor degrees from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University.
