Attorney Veverka Appointed to Committee on Rules of Evidence

Albert P. Veverka, shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., has been appointed to the Committee on Rules of Evidence. Mr. Veverka was appointed by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on February 16, 2018. He is one of nine voting members of the Committee, all of whom serve a three-year term. Mr. Veverka’s term commences on May 1, 2018.

The Committee on Rules of Evidence was created by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania to advise and assist the court in prescribing general rules governing all court proceedings in Pennsylvania. Committee appointees are selected based on their profound knowledge of Pennsylvania Rules of Evidence and their significant trial court experience.

Mr. Veverka concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm he served as an Assistant District Attorney for Allegheny County. He earned his Juris Doctor at the West Virginia University College of Law and received his Bachelor of Arts from Mercyhurst University.
