Dickie McCamey and Duquesne University School of Law Announce Diversity Recipient
2020 Diversity Scholarship Recipient Nakib Kabir
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a national, full-service law firm, and the Duquesne University School of Law have named Nakib Kabir as this year’s recipient of the Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship.
Mr. Kabir, a second-year Juris Doctor candidate, was chosen by a committee of members from the university and the law firm.
“I would like to thank the Duquesne Law community and everyone at Dickie McCamey for this incredible opportunity,” Mr. Kabir said.
The Dickie McCamey Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship benefits diverse law school students who demonstrate an interest in the trial moot court program. Recipients are awarded a one-time grant of $10,000, a paid summer clerkship, and access to a designated mentor from Dickie McCamey for the duration of the student’s career at Duquesne University.

Mr. Kabir, a native of New York City, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from State University of New York at Fredonia where he earned the “Most Outstanding Attorney” award with a perfect score in the St. Bonaventure Mock Trial Invitational in 2018. He is currently a teaching assistant and a member of the Duquesne Law Review.
