Dickie McCamey and Duquesne University School of Law Announce Diversity Scholarship Recipient
2019 Diversity Scholarship Recipient Isabella Simon
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., a national, full-service law firm, and the Duquesne University School of Law have named Isabella Simon as the first recipient of the Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship.
Ms. Simon, a third-year Juris Doctor candidate, was chosen by a committee comprised of members from the university and the law firm.
“I am thrilled to have this unique experience and for the chance to be mentored by the most skilled litigators in the Pittsburgh community,” Ms. Simon explained. “Receiving this scholarship has provided me with a stable platform to focus on my advocacy skills and help drive me into my professional career, and for that I am thankful.”
The Dickie McCamey Trial Skills Diversity Scholarship benefits diverse law school students who demonstrate an interest in the trial moot court program.

While at Duquesne University, Ms. Simon has served as President of the Public Interest Law Association, worked part-time at a personal injury law firm, and served as an assistant to the marketing director on campus. She is a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University.
