Christopher J. Hega

Christopher J. Hega is a shareholder at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C., where he focuses his practice on complex litigation. His work includes toxic tort matters, with a particular emphasis on asbestos claims. Serving as local counsel, he represents a wide range of companies in lawsuits involving alleged asbestos exposure and has managed all phases of mass tort litigation in thousands of cases across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. His practice also includes defending corporations in federal court, as well as general defense litigation, including admiralty and maritime law.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Hega concentrates on family law matters. He regularly handles collaborative family law cases, divorce, custody disputes, and domestic relations issues, with a particular emphasis on support and child custody matters, equitable distribution, and protection from abuse proceedings.

Mr. Hega also has over 20 years of experience in federal income tax matters and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
