Alternate Dispute Resolution

Overview

When litigation is not the best solution, the lawyers at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote advise clients through alternate dispute resolution (ADR), providing the opportunity to resolve disputes in an expeditious and economical manner. We offer a team of seasoned litigators who are skilled in ADR techniques, including mediation, arbitration, conciliation and collaborative law.

Our ADR attorneys have significant experience in all substantive areas of alternative dispute resolution, including employment, insurance, anti-trust, securities and finance, contract, and construction law. When a conflict surfaces that is appropriate for mediation, arbitration or another form of alternative dispute resolution, an ADR lawyer in our Group will take the time needed to fully understand our client’s position so that we can help fashion a resolution that is consistent with our client’s business goals and objectives.

Attorneys in our ADR group regularly serve as arbitrators and mediators, often directly at the request of the parties in dispute. We have members on the CPR, ADR, Jurists, Judicate National Arbitration and Mediation panels, and various American Arbitration Association panels, including the Large and Complex Case Panel, as well as the International Chamber of Commerce and various state and federal courts.

Our attorneys have represented clients in various ADR proceedings throughout the region and across the United States. We are highly respected by the bench and bar and are frequently selected through various arbitration and mediation tribunals by the parties.
