DMC Expands Oil and Gas Team

Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC), a national, full-service law firm, is pleased to welcome two associates to its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, office. Robert J. Dobkin and Jesse A. Harcar join the firm’s Oil, Gas and Mineral Services team and the Energy and Real Estate Groups.

Mr. Dobkin focuses his practice on oil and gas transactional projects including title opinions, due diligence, and title abstracting for exploration and production companies throughout the Appalachian region. A 2016 graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, he gained zoning and planning experience as a law clerk and served as President of the Duquesne Energy and Mineral Law Society. Mr. Dobkin previously worked for a petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company where he managed the development of horizontal well sites. There he gained knowledge of the oil and gas industry practices, mineral due diligence, environmental and regulatory standards, compliance, and land management practices.

Mr. Harcar focuses primarily on oil and gas transactional projects including title opinions, due diligence, and title abstracting for exploration and production companies throughout the Appalachian region. A 2015 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, he previously worked as a title curative specialist for a title company headquartered in Pittsburgh. Mr. Harcar reviewed and developed solutions for curative issues, dealt with the identification and processing of escalation issues, and inspected title examiners’ work for accuracy.
