Amy Brinkos Elected to ACBA Council
Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. (DMC) is pleased to announce that Amy J. Brinkos has been elected to the Allegheny County Bar Association’s (ACBA) Women in the Law Division (WLD) Council. She assumes office on July 1, 2016, for a three-year term.
Ms. Brinkos is a shareholder of Dickie McCamey. Her civil litigation defense practice includes the food and beverage industry, product liability, toxic tort, and insurance coverage. She has over two decades of legal experience.
The WDL Council is charged with creating and sponsoring programs to educate the members of the bar and the judiciary as to the character and impact of barriers which deny women the opportunity to achieve full integration and equal participation in the work, responsibilities, and rewards of the legal profession.
The ACBA has over 2,500 members – all of whom are eligible to vote. The election process involves the publishing of each nominee’s 100-word personal statement and biographical information to the entire membership, and votes are cast based on the disseminated material.
Ms. Brinkos is an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and earned her B.A., cum laude, at the University of Pittsburgh.
