Mary Barley-McBride is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. She concentrates her practice in the areas of construction law, insurance defense, medical malpractice, real estate, and premises liability, with a particular emphasis in professional liability.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Barley-McBride practiced with a local firm in Columbus. Before beginning her career in private practice, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Norah McCann King, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Ohio.

  • Quay 55 v. Marous Bros. Construction, CV-11-766308, Cuyahoga County, Ohio – 5 week trial (April–May 2014):  after 5 weeks of trial, successful resolution of construction defect claims in the historical renovation of a Cleveland landmark building (and where LeBron James kept an apartment)
  • Tammy Khalilpour, et al. v. St. Ann's Hospital, et al., Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Case No. 07 CVA-01-1264 (2009):  defense verdict for all defendants on a claim of post-partum medical negligence
  • Michael J. Veatch, et al. v. John E. Busey, et al. v. Paul Oberhauser, et al., Muskingum County Court of Common Pleas, Case No. CH2006-0331 (2009):  directed verdict for a defendant/real estate broker on a claim of real estate trespass, removal of trees and punitive damages
