Anthony G. Sanchez is a principal of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, civil rights, education law, and mediation, with a particular emphasis in employment law, representing both public and private employers.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sanchez founded his own practice specializing in the representation of public school districts and other educational and governmental institutions, as well as non-profit and profit corporations. His experience comprises all stages of litigation in federal and state court and fair employment practice agencies. Before starting his own firm, he was a senior partner and manager of litigation with a local Pittsburgh firm.

Mr. Sanchez has taught Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action for the University of Pittsburgh, College of Business Administration. After graduating law school, he clerked for the late Judge William F. Cercone of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.

Representative Matters:

  • Harden v. Rosie, 99 A.3d 950 (2014):  successfully represented the public school district and had a verdict reversed on appeal; established favorable case on actual notice issue within the Title IX context
  • Meyer v. Community College of Beaver County, 93 A.3d 806 (2014):  successfully represented the Community College of Beaver County through multiple appeals, culminating with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court finding that the state consumer protection act does not apply to local government agencies
